Meet Pastor Logan

Pastor Logan Mabe is the Lead Pastor of Catalyst Church, where he leads with a heart for the community by serving alongside local partners in the city and helping people know, love and follow Jesus in all of life.In addition to his work at Catalyst, Logan serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Restoration225, supporting children and families impacted by foster care that bring immediate help and hope to their lives.Pastor Logan grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, and loves the Ohio State Buckeyes and the New England Patriots. He and his wife have five amazing children, and much of his time outside of ministry is spent coaching, investing in his kids, and enjoying life together as a family.Pastor Logan enjoys reading, classic movies, listening to christian hip hop music, and playing pick up basketball, or soccer when he can. A fun personal detail is that—he was named after Wolverine from the X-Men.

Meet Pastor Johannes

Pastor Johannes began serving as a Pastor at Catalyst Church in 2021. Originally from Guam, he moved to San Diego to play soccer at San Diego Christian College, where he met his wife, Lai. Together, they have five children: Josiah, Elijah, Eliana, Jedidiah, and Isaiah. Johannes sensed a deeper call to ministry through life-shaping events early in life and has served in church leadership since 2007. In addition to his role at Catalyst, Johannes works in public service and coaches youth soccer.
