Our Community
Catalyst Church SD serves the Paradise Hills community in the southeastern area of the City of San Diego. It is adjacent to National City and the unincorporated communities of Lincoln Acres and Bonita. Paradise Hills is ranked as one of the most diverse neighborhoods in San Diego and is a residential neighborhood consisting primarily of single-family homes in a hilly area. Our church has an opportunity to reach many families in our community with the good news of Jesus.
Our City
With a population of nearly 1.4 million, the City of San Diego is the second-largest city in California and the eighth-largest city in the United States. About two-thirds of the population are either Catholic or non-religious. San Diegans are spiritually curious, with over two-thirds believing in God and seeing religion as very or somewhat important. There are thousands of people in San Diego who have a hunger to know God and see him work in their life. We want to reach people in our city with the good news of Jesus.
Our World
Due to our geographical area, immigration, and tourism, the City of San Diego has global connections. There is an opportunity to reach the world at our doorsteps. We partner with others to help fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord to reach people of all nations with the gospel.
